Before You Book – Important Information for Lubbock Clients

  • This page is only for the Lubbock PETS Clinic.
  • We do not provide sick or emergency care.
  • Spay/Neuter: Request form required. Offered Tuesday–Thursday only. Pain medication included at no extra cost. Vaccinations, microchipping, and nail trims are available during surgery.
  • Wellness Exams: Walk-in only, offered Monday evenings 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM and the third Saturday of each month, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
  • Walk-in Wellness Services: Walk-in only. No appointment necessary. Vaccinations, microchipping, flea/tick prevention, heartworm testing/prevention, deworming, and nail trims.
  • Bring prior medical/vaccine records. Arrive 10 minutes early for walk-ins.

Spay & Neuter Surgery – Request Form Required

Step 1 – Make Sure Your Pet Qualifies:

  • Age: 3 months to under 6 years old
  • Weight: At least 3 lbs
  • Breed restrictions: We do not perform surgeries on English Bulldogs, Dobermans, Himalayan cats, or Persian cats

Step 2 – Know What’s Included:

  • Pain medication at no extra charge
  • Optional same-day add-ons: Vaccinations, microchipping, nail trims
  • Separate wellness appointments are not necessary for preventive care on the day of surgery

Step 3 – Submit the Request Form:

  • One pet per form due to required signatures and medical information

Step 4 – After You Submit

  • You’ll receive an email confirmation that your request was received
  • The email will include an estimated wait time before scheduling
  • When your date is confirmed, you’ll receive a text message with appointment details and drop-off instructions
  • Follow all pre-surgery instructions provided in your confirmation email

Walk-In Wellness & Preventive Services

Walk-in preventive care is available:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Wellness exams available only 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (No wellness exams)
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (No wellness exams)
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (No wellness exams)
  • The third Saturday of each month: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Wellness exams available)

Services offered during walk-in hours:

  • Wellness exams are walk-in only, offered Monday evenings 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM and the third Saturday of each month, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Annual head-to-tail checkup, preventive care recommendations.

Please remember we are a nonprofit clinic with limited staff and volunteers. We receive 100–200 emails and voicemails per day and are working hard to return every communication. There is no need to leave multiple voicemails or emails, as we will get back to you as soon as possible to get your appointment scheduled or resolve any issues. It may take up to four weeks to hear back for surgery requests
